I’m Brittany Gerald, BS
an innovative and detail-oriented Clinical Trial Health Equity Executive with 16 years of clinical research experience and 8 years of entrepreneurial experience. Upon graduating with a Bachelors of Science from Wake Forest Univesity I have worked at various pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations across all clinical trial phases and in therapeutic areas such as cardiology, endocrinology, immunology, neurology, oncology, vaccines and women's health.
I am experienced in executing successful solutions to advance global clinical trial diversity programs and address health disparities. I have a special interest in digital health solutions for underrepresented populations in clinical trials. Breaking into and succeeding in the pharmaceutical industry can be challenging so I'm here to help you navigate your pharmaceutical career by helping you identify the best pathway into the industry.
Hello! I’m Leida Bowen, PharmD
As an Associate Director of Clinical Trial Diversity at a large pharmaceutical company, I am primarily tasked with enhancing the company's Clinical Trial Diversity strategy. I collaborate with numerous teams to improve clinical trial processes, ensuring increased participation from diverse physicians and patients. I have been an instrumental figure in diverse roles, including Associate Director in Research and Development and Senior Medical Science Liaison in Dermatology and Gastroenterology.
I am a graduate of Florida A&M University, where I received my Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). During my time at Florida A&M University, I conducted malaria research with the Minority Health International Research Training program in Ghana, West Africa. Upon graduation, I completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Pharmacovigilance at Johnson & Johnson.
